After years of rewriting the application for all platforms, building on a decade’s worth of experience and user feedback, We are happy to introduce OutWit Rover for the most recent versions of Windows, Mac and Linux.

Rover exclusively focuses on scraping, with all the main features of both OutWit Hub and Email Sourcer in a more accessible interface. Macros and Jobs are now integrated in a single Job engine. Complex directive syntax has been replaced with dropdown menus. Users can easily access and modify exploration settings, even as the process is running.

What’s coming: As with our previous applications, new updates will be released every month or two, and major releases, annually. In early 1.x versions we will keep implementing the popular functions and directives from OutWit Hub into Rover, always drawing guidance and priorities from your feedback.

Then, in v1.5 to 2.0, we will integrate a number of entry points in the application where you will be able to branch your favorite AI model(s) for advanced recognition, analysis, and decision features, during exploration and scraping. The following step —not too far away— is autonomy: when you can unleash Rover and let it roll wild in terra incognita to fetch what you need. We have tested it already, and it is impressive.
